If you own early VAG EV, you’ve probably encountered a well-known issue: leaking coolant seals and worn rotor bearings in the rear drive unit.
Instead of paying thousands at the dealership or waiting weeks for repairs, you can solve the problem yourself by replacing the coolant seal and upgrading the rotor bearing quickly and effectively.
Designed specifically for APP310 motor, this comprehensive kit includes all the critical components needed to service and rebuild the rear electric axle drive unit — using parts that meet or exceed OEM quality standards.
The kit includes:

- 2x End caps
This kit addresses the most common rear drive unit failures, including:
Coolant intrusion into the motor
Increased drivetrain noise
Reduced efficiency
Complete motor failure if left unchecked

IMPORTANT TIP for Optimal Performance of Mechanical Seals
1. Lubricate Seal Faces
Before operation, ensure that both faces of the mechanical seal are properly lubricated with coolant or technical-grade glycerine.
2. Purge Air from the Cooling System
Completely remove air from the cooling system using computer-assisted or vacuum methods. Air pockets near mechanical seals can cause premature damage!
